Beijing lifts military service allowance this year by 28,000 yuan ($4060.32) for a candidate of an enrollment university student or a graduate, according to the conscription meeting of Beijing.
The municipality’s conscription work continues targeting university students as its major population in 2017. Youth with a higher degree or graduating university students will be approved preferentially. Statistics show last year, college students and graduates account for 73.6 percent of the total enrollment.
A bachelor or bachelor candidate will be compensated at least 214, 000 yuan in his or her two-year service period.
